G.H.Y Culture & Media secures shareholder approval for FY2025 dividend after return to profit

G.H.Y Culture & Media Holding Co., Limited (XJB) reported a return to profitability and won shareholder backing for all resolutions tabled at its Annual General Meeting held on Apr, 29 2026 in Singapore.

The group posted revenue of about 97.1 million Singapore dollars for the year ended Dec, 31 2025, up from 79.3 million Singapore dollars a year earlier, driven mainly by its television and film production segment. Gross profit rose to roughly 18.7 million Singapore dollars, while net profit came in at 1.7 million Singapore dollars, reversing the prior-year loss.

As at Dec, 31 2025, the company held net working capital of approximately 78.4 million Singapore dollars and cash and cash equivalents of 17.0 million Singapore dollars. Net cash used in operating activities totalled about 10.2 million Singapore dollars, with a further 0.7 million Singapore dollars used in investing activities and 2.3 million Singapore dollars applied to financing activities.

Shareholders approved a final tax-exempt dividend of 0.10 Singapore cent per share for FY2025. All other ordinary and special resolutions — including director re-elections, 300,000 Singapore dollars in directors’ fees for FY2026, the re-appointment of Crowe Horwath First Trust LLP as auditor, mandates to issue shares and options, and renewals of the share-purchase and interested-person transaction mandates — were passed with at least 98 % support.

Operationally, the company highlighted successful releases such as “Contenders,” “Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty 3: Chang’an” and “Strange Chronicles of Tang,” along with progress in short-form drama production and artificial-intelligence initiatives. Its concert production arm produced Jolin Tsai’s “Pleasure” tour stop in Changsha and is pursuing additional projects.
