Zhejiang Governor Liu Jie conducted a special research tour on August 12 in Hangzhou, examining the development of new energy vehicle enterprises. Liu emphasized the need to "further promote deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, continuously build an open and integrated high-quality industrial ecosystem, and steadily enhance the core competitiveness of Zhejiang's new energy vehicle industry."

During the inspection, Liu Jie visited Yinawei Company, Hangzhou Methanol-Hydrogen Electric New Energy Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd., and Leapmotor Co., Ltd. At Leapmotor's production facility, the governor gained a detailed understanding of the company's operations and production, encouraging the firm to strengthen foundational original technology research and further expand its brand influence and market share.
