LifeTech Scientific's stock plummeted 5.11% during intraday trading on Tuesday, following the release of its annual financial results for 2025 which showed a significant decline in profitability despite modest revenue growth.
The company reported that while revenue increased by approximately 5.1% to RMB 1.37 billion, profit attributable to shareholders dropped sharply by 33-34% year-on-year. The decline in earnings was attributed to various factors impacting the company's bottom line, with the board not recommending a final dividend for the year.
Investors reacted negatively to the substantial profit decline, which overshadowed the modest revenue growth driven primarily by increased sales of covered stents in the company's peripheral vascular diseases business segment.
