METASURFACE Files Formal Application for Dual Listing on Singapore Exchange

METASURFACE (ASX: 08637) has announced that it submitted a formal application on July 8, 2026, for a listing on the Singapore Exchange. This move is subject to several conditions, including approval from the relevant regulatory bodies, such as the SGX itself. The company must also fulfill all the prerequisites for completing the Singapore listing. Furthermore, the final decision to proceed will depend on the prevailing market sentiment and conditions at the time of the intended listing.

Should the Singapore listing be successfully implemented, the company plans to achieve a dual listing status on both the Hong Kong Exchange's GEM board and the SGX's Catalist board. This strategy is designed to provide the company with an additional fundraising platform within the Singapore capital market for future financing needs. It is also expected to enhance the liquidity of its securities trading.

If the Singapore listing proceeds, the company intends to allot and issue placement shares under a general mandate. These shares would then be listed and traded on the SGX. Following the allotment and issuance, and in compliance with Catalist and GEM listing rules, shareholders would have the flexibility to deposit shares traded on the SGX into the Central Clearing and Settlement System for trading on the Hong Kong Exchange, and vice versa.

The actual number of shares to be listed and traded in this manner will be determined by the Board of Directors, taking into account the market conditions at the time of the Singapore listing. The company will apply for listing approval for the new shares from both the Hong Kong and Singapore exchanges.

Post the Singapore listing, the plan involves allotting and issuing the placement shares under the general mandate. These shares would then be registered at the company's Singapore branch share registrar and approved by the SGX for trading. As of the date of this announcement, the specific number of placement shares has not yet been finalized.
