Everus Construction Group, Inc. (NYSE: ECG) saw its stock price surge 5.56% in after-hours trading on Tuesday, following the release of its fourth-quarter financial results.

The significant price movement appears to be a direct reaction to the company's robust quarterly performance, which exceeded analyst expectations. Everus reported Q4 revenue of $1.01 billion, a substantial beat compared to the Ibes estimate of $879.6 million, representing a 33.1% year-over-year increase. Net income for the quarter jumped 60.8% to $55.3 million, resulting in diluted earnings per share of $1.08.

Further bolstering investor confidence was the company's strong profitability and positive outlook. Q4 EBITDA grew 45.5% to $84.8 million, with the company citing growth in both its Electrical and Mechanical and Transmission and Distribution segments. Management also initiated fiscal year 2026 guidance, projecting revenue between $4.1 billion and $4.2 billion and EBITDA in the range of $320 million to $335 million.
