In 2025, Guangdong's industrial enterprises above designated size achieved operating revenue of 19.34 trillion yuan, maintaining the largest scale in the country.

At 56.2%, the added value of advanced manufacturing accounted for 56.2% of the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size across the province in 2025, while the added value of high-tech manufacturing accounted for 34.7%.

More than 1,000: By 2028, the goal is to build more than 1,000 advanced-level, excellence-level, and leading-level smart factories, promote the penetration rate of artificial intelligence technology applications among manufacturing enterprises above designated size to exceed 50%, and push humanoid robot output past 80,000 units.
