Guoquan Food spends HK$14.91 million to repurchase 8.51 million H-shares, trimming free-float by 0.33%

Guoquan Food (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (GUOQUAN) disclosed that it bought back 8.51 million H-shares on 26 June 2026 via on-market transactions, paying an aggregate HK$14.91 million. The repurchases were executed within a price range of HK$1.72–1.78 per share, implying a volume-weighted average cost of approximately HK$1.75 per share.

Post-transaction, GUOQUAN’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell to 2.57 billion shares from 2.58 billion, a reduction of 0.33%. Concurrently, treasury shares rose to 176.10 million, keeping the total issued share count unchanged at 2.75 billion.

The repurchase formed part of the mandate granted on 29 April 2026, which authorises buybacks of up to 262.44 million shares. To date, 53.18 million shares—about 2.03% of the company’s issued share base at mandate date—have been repurchased under this approval. All 8.51 million shares acquired on 26 June 2026 are being held as treasury shares; none have yet been cancelled.

In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, GUOQUAN is subject to a moratorium on issuing, selling or transferring shares until 26 July 2026. The company confirmed that the repurchases complied with applicable Main Board requirements and that no material changes have occurred to the April 9, 2026 explanatory statement filed with the Exchange.
