Raily Aesthetic Medicine International Holdings Limited announced a revision to the utilisation plan for the remaining proceeds from its April 2024 rights issue.

Key data • Total net proceeds from the rights issue: HK$19.00 million • Funds already deployed: HK$11.40 million – HK$9.50 million for equipment and raw-material purchases – HK$1.90 million for general working capital • Unutilised balance: HK$7.60 million

Revised allocation The unused HK$7.60 million, originally earmarked solely for National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) registration filings and associated clinical trials, will now cover a broader range of pre-registration activities. These include product research and development, sample production and testing, and additional equipment procurement, all described as integral to the NMPA approval process.

Extended timetable Management now targets full deployment of the remaining proceeds by 31 March 2027, a one-year extension from the previous deadline of 31 March 2026. The board cited the multi-stage regulatory pathway and the need to preserve financial flexibility amid market uncertainty as reasons for the adjustment.

The company stated that the change does not alter its core business focus and believes the revised schedule optimises resource allocation without adversely affecting ongoing operations. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
