Prudential cancels shares and updates on latest buyback

Prudential plc announced on Jul, 15 2026 that it repurchased 251,757 ordinary shares on Jul, 14 2026 through the London Stock Exchange for prices ranging between GBP 10.365 and GBP 10.69 per share, spending a total of approximately 4.6 million Singapore dollars. All of these shares are intended for cancellation.

Including an earlier cancellation of 377,128 shares completed on Jul, 14 2026, the company’s issued share capital has been reduced to 2,508,297,062 shares from 2,508,674,190 shares recorded on Jul, 13 2026.

Prudential has also repurchased, but not yet cancelled, 370,629 shares bought on Jul, 13 2026 and the 251,757 shares acquired on Jul, 14 2026.

Under the share repurchase mandate approved on May, 14 2025, the company is authorised to buy back up to 262.668701 million shares. To date, it has repurchased about 104.499 million shares, representing roughly 4.01 percent of the shares outstanding at the time of the mandate’s approval.

The company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or transferring any treasury shares until Aug, 13 2026.
