China Coal Energy Reports May Commercial Coal Sales Growth of 0.4%

In a recent announcement, China Coal Energy Company Limited (ASX: 601898) disclosed its operational data for May 2026.
The company reported commercial coal production of 10.81 million tonnes for the month, representing a year-on-year decrease of 9.2%.
Total commercial coal sales reached 21.87 million tonnes, marking a slight increase of 0.4% compared to the same period last year.
Within the total sales figure, sales of self-produced commercial coal amounted to 10.51 million tonnes, reflecting a decline of 10.6% year-on-year.
