A 949-meter water supply pipeline project in Qingdao has been completed 45 days ahead of schedule, marking a significant milestone in the city's water infrastructure development. The project, officially launched on July 1, was executed during the peak summer water demand period to ensure supply security.
As a key component of the Qingdao Water Affairs Hairun Water Group's strategy to build a "three-source complementary, east-west mutual aid" dispatch system, the Keiyuan Weisi Road pipeline capacity enhancement project has been finished. This achievement represents a critical step in transitioning the area east of Hairu Road from a single-supply to a dual-redundancy system.
To guarantee safety during the high-demand summer season, Hairun Group seized the construction window by conducting multiple rounds of site surveys and technical assessments before starting. With support from the Qingdao Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Bureau's Municipal Public Engineering Construction Development Center, the Qingdao Water Affairs Bureau's Water Construction Quality and Safety Supervision Station, and the Laoshan District Urban Management Bureau, the original design was optimized, and an open-cut construction method was adopted for the entire route.
During construction, the entire pipeline was divided into three independent sections, with multiple teams working in parallel simultaneously. All personnel adhered to a strict schedule, pushing forward with coordinated efforts. The entire construction task was completed in just 29 days, 45 days earlier than the original plan, achieving what the company calls "Hairun speed" in urban water supply network renovation.
While accelerating progress, Hairun Group strictly implemented civilized construction standards to minimize the impact on surrounding residents and businesses. Continuous sound barriers were installed along the entire construction site, accompanied by silent power generation equipment. Perimeter spray systems and mist cannons operated around the clock to suppress dust. Drone inspections and intelligent monitoring systems were deployed, enabling full-visibility dynamic scheduling of the construction process. This meticulous management created a "non-sensory construction" model with minimal disturbance.
Looking ahead, Hairun Group plans to systematically review the practical experience gained from multi-section collaborative construction and intelligent "non-sensory construction" management. This will be refined into a standardized, replicable, and scalable "Hairun construction model" for water supply facility upgrades. The goal is to continuously enhance the resilience of urban water supply infrastructure, support refined urban governance with high-quality water renovation projects, and provide safer, more stable, and higher-quality water services to residents and businesses in the area.
