The China-Europe Railway Express service center within the Daxing Airport Economic Zone officially opened today (the 7th), establishing a new air-land multimodal transport corridor by connecting the economic zone with the China-Europe Railway Express marshaling center across Beijing and Hebei.

At 10:30 AM, the first batch of cross-border e-commerce goods departed from the Daxing Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, traveling by road directly to Shijiazhuang International Land Port before being shipped to Europe on the China-Europe Railway Express. The successful linkage of the two major hubs—airport and land port—in Beijing and Hebei has streamlined air, road, and rail logistics, significantly boosting cross-border transportation efficiency.

Wang Chuanmeng, Executive Director of Hebei Land Port Group, stated that the interconnection of the two hubs in Beijing and Hebei has optimized regional logistics, clearing the main cross-border corridor between Asia and Europe. Businesses can now flexibly choose from air freight, the China-Europe Railway Express, or air-rail combined transport.

The service center, established jointly by the Daxing Airport Economic Zone Joint Management Committee and Hebei Land Port Group, integrates all regional logistics resources. It provides foreign trade companies with one-stop services, from booking cargo space to customs clearance, enabling a single consignment order, seamless door-to-door delivery, and a unified shipping document.

Yu Zhilong, Director of the Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone Joint Management Committee, noted that the zone will continue to refine air-rail-road intermodal processes, improve logistics support, and deepen collaboration between the two regions. This effort aims to create a model for cross-regional hub coordination and provide strong transportation and logistics support for the high-quality development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
