South Korean Feed Industry Group Launches Global Tender to Purchase Nearly 70,000 Tons of Feed Corn

On May 21, it was revealed that the Korea Feed Leaders Committee (FLC) has officially launched an international tender to purchase up to 69,000 tons of animal feed corn. The bidding deadline for this tender is set for May 21, with the relevant goods expected to arrive in South Korea around September 30.

According to tender requirements, the shipment periods for the goods are clearly divided based on the origin: if sourced from the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S. West Coast, shipment is scheduled between August 12 and September 10; if from the U.S. Gulf Coast, shipment is set between July 23 and August 21; if from South America, shipment is between July 18 and August 16; and if from South Africa, shipment is from August 2 to August 31.
