JD Health reported interim revenue of RMB 40.89 billion for the six months ended 30 June 2026, a 15.9% increase from RMB 35.29 billion a year earlier. Product sales contributed RMB 33.90 billion, up 15.6%, while service revenue from marketplace, advertising and other services rose 17.2% to RMB 7.00 billion.
Gross profit expanded 20.2% to RMB 10.69 billion, lifting the gross margin to 26.1% from 25.2% in the prior-year period. IFRS operating income advanced 49.2% to RMB 3.17 billion, and profit for the period climbed 32.6% to RMB 3.44 billion.
On a non-IFRS basis—excluding share-based payments and investment-related items—operating income grew 40.3% to RMB 3.48 billion, and non-IFRS profit increased 8.5% to RMB 3.87 billion. The non-IFRS operating margin improved to 8.5% from 7.0%.
Cost management supported margin gains: fulfillment expenses rose 15.0% to RMB 4.08 billion but narrowed to 10.0% of revenue (H1 2025: 10.1%), while selling and marketing costs edged up 3.7% to RMB 1.88 billion, falling to 4.6% of revenue (H1 2025: 5.1%). R&D spending increased 23.5% to RMB 0.91 billion, representing 2.2% of revenue.
Cash resources totaled RMB 71.50 billion at 30 June 2026, including RMB 20.45 billion in cash and cash equivalents. Operating cash inflow declined to RMB 4.46 billion (H1 2025: RMB 6.24 billion), while investment outflows rose to RMB 14.35 billion, mainly for purchases of financial assets. The company remains debt-free.
During the period JD Health repurchased 21.54 million shares for HKD 840.28 million and held no treasury shares at period-end. The board did not declare an interim dividend.
Operationally, JD Health launched 65 new drugs, expanded medical insurance payment coverage to 40 cities, and grew its offline JD Pharmacy network to more than 450 stores. AI initiatives included the “Jingyi Qianxun” medical large model, the “JD Zhiyi” physician assistant, and an upgraded “Dr. Da Wei” AI agent with long-term health record capabilities.
Management reiterated its strategy of reinforcing supply-chain strengths, deepening industry partnerships, and scaling AI-enabled healthcare services to sustain growth and profitability.
