Guangdong Province has officially announced a series of new appointments and removals across various governmental and institutional roles, as disclosed through the official WeChat account of the province's Department of Human Resources and Social Security.

Zhu Hongwei has been named the new Director of the Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau. Wang Yan is appointed as President of Lingnan Normal University on a one-year probationary period, while Zhang Jinwen takes on the role of President at Guangzhou Maritime University, also under a one-year probation.

Wang Hongjun has been appointed as Chairman of Guangdong Provincial Communications Group Co., Ltd. Additionally, Li Yanggang assumes the position of Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Statistics, and Chen Quan becomes Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Medical Security Bureau, both serving a one-year probationary period.

Sun Mingfei, Wang Xu, and Hu Shengchun have been appointed as Vice Presidents of the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, each under a one-year probation. Liu Qiang is named Vice President of Guangdong University of Technology, and Lan Hongjun takes on the role of Vice President at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Liu Kaidong has been appointed Vice President of Lingnan Normal University, all with one-year probationary terms.

In terms of removals, Cui Chaoyang has been relieved of his duties as Director of the Guangdong Provincial Film Bureau. Xiao Xue steps down as Director of the Guangdong Provincial Medical Security Bureau and will retire. Wang Hongjun is removed from his previous position as Chairman of Guangdong Provincial Railway Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Zeng Qingchun is dismissed from his role as Chairman of Guangdong Radio and Television Network Co., Ltd.

Li Zhuqiao and Zhang Jinping have been removed from their positions as Deputy Directors of the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Statistics and will retire. Li Jintang is removed as Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Medical Security Bureau and will retire. Fu Xianglong is relieved of his post as President of the Guangdong Provincial Institute of Education Research and will retire.

Zhou Zhouyu has been removed from his position as Vice President of the Guangdong Academy of Sciences. Yi Ganjun and Zhang Mingwei are removed as Vice Presidents of the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Chen Jianghan steps down as Director of the Institute of Analysis and Testing under the Guangdong Academy of Sciences (also known as the China National Analytical Center Guangzhou) and will retire. Chen Douxue is removed from his role as President of Zhuhai City Polytechnic College and will retire.
