Prudential plc repurchases 250,931 shares on May 12

Prudential plc announced that it bought back 250,931 ordinary shares on May, 12 2026 through the London Stock Exchange under its ongoing share repurchase programme.

The buyback forms part of the mandate approved on May, 14 2025, which permits the company to repurchase up to 262.668 million shares. Including the latest transaction, Prudential has repurchased a cumulative 88.213 million shares, equivalent to about 3.39% of its issued share capital at the time the mandate was granted.

Following the recent series of repurchases—257,332 shares on May, 08 2026, 252,608 shares on May, 11 2026, and 250,931 shares on May, 12 2026—those 760,871 shares remain pending cancellation. The company’s issued share count was unchanged at approximately 2.519 billion as of May, 12 2026.
