Navitas Semiconductor Corp's stock soared 29.23% during intraday trading on Wednesday, following the company's announcement of a strategic collaboration with the NVIDIA MGX ecosystem.
The partnership is focused on accelerating the development of 800 VDC power infrastructure for next-generation artificial intelligence data centers. Navitas showcased an 800 V-to-6 V DC-DC power delivery board at the COMPUTEX 2026 exhibition, a product designed to eliminate the traditional 48 V intermediate bus converter stage in AI server racks.
This collaboration positions Navitas' gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC) power semiconductor technologies as key enablers for megawatt-scale AI infrastructure, addressing the critical power delivery challenges posed by rapidly scaling AI workloads and high-power GPU racks.
