ZHENGTONGAUTO Issues 2025 ESG Report Detailing Governance Upgrades, Lower Emissions and Stronger NEV Push

China ZhengTong Auto Services Holdings Limited (ZHENGTONGAUTO) released its tenth Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, covering the period from 1 January to 31 December 2025. The Board assumes full responsibility for ESG strategy, supported by a dedicated ESG Committee and an operational working team. Seven Board meetings and 14 specialist-committee meetings were convened during the year.

Governance and Ethics • Four specialised Board committees now include a newly-formalised ESG Committee chaired by Executive Director Wang Mingcheng. • Anti-corruption oversight was reinforced through a ‘1 + X’ supervision mechanism, 18 audit projects and 29 compliance inspections; no corruption cases were recorded. • The Group completed a comprehensive rebuild of its risk-management framework, issuing new guidelines for investment, operational and compliance risks.

Business Strategy and Operations • Total outlets reached 89 across 35 cities; eight additional NEV dealerships are under construction. • The firm ranked 21st on the “2025 Top 100 Auto Dealer Groups in China” list and 66th on the NEV sub-list. • Pre-owned vehicle sales rose 3.8 % year on year to 14,800 units. • New media initiatives generated 440,000 sales leads—an 88 % increase over 2024—and contributed 9,867 vehicle orders (18.3 % of total).

Environmental Performance • Scope 1 greenhouse-gas (GHG) emissions fell 53.6 % to 1,696.73 tonnes CO₂-equivalent; Scope 2 emissions declined 9.0 % to 18,320.36 tonnes CO₂-equivalent. Overall GHG intensity decreased to 266.89 tonnes CO₂-equivalent per store (-12.5 %). • Electricity consumption dropped 9.5 % to 418.93 million kWh; average consumption per store declined to 5.59 million kWh. • Hazardous waste generation decreased 16.5 % to 1,969.79 tonnes; non-hazardous waste increased to 2,178.02 tonnes as carton and plastic recycling volumes grew. • Nineteen stores now run on certified green electricity, accounting for 17.58 % of their power needs; four locations hold ISO 14001 certification. • A 5.46 MW rooftop solar project at Wuhan’s Jieyuehang Supply-Chain Park will supply about 7 million kWh annually, cutting 5,767 tonnes of CO₂.

Social Metrics • Workforce totalled 5,220 employees, down 7.97 %; 40.0 % are women and 50.6 % have served over five years. • Employee contracts and social-insurance coverage stand at 100 %. • Training reached all staff, totalling 72,859 hours and RMB 1.39 million in investment. • Zero work-related fatalities were reported; lost-time injury days numbered 133. • Community engagement involved 68 volunteers contributing 151 service hours.

Forward Actions ZHENGTONGAUTO plans to formalise climate-transition targets, expand green-power procurement, and deepen NEV penetration through further authorisations and acquisitions while maintaining its focus on ethical governance, risk control and talent development.
