On August 18, a specialized training session focused on the management and capital operation of existing assets held by central state-owned enterprises was successfully conducted, co-hosted by the Beijing Equity Exchange and the Shanghai Stock Exchange. This initiative was carried out under the strategic cooperation framework between Beijing State-owned Assets Company and the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with a primary focus on revitalizing existing central enterprise assets, enhancing the efficiency of capital operations, and fostering the high-quality development of listed companies. Personnel from various central enterprises participated in the training and related exchanges.
This training represents a significant innovative practice, demonstrating the deep integration and collaborative empowerment of state-owned enterprise reforms through the linkage between the Shanghai Stock Exchange's standardized capital market system and the Beijing Equity Exchange's non-standard element trading platform. The Shanghai Stock Exchange has evolved into a comprehensive securities exchange offering five major categories of trading products—stocks, bonds, funds, derivatives, and public REITs—with its market indicators and influence ranking among the top globally, thereby providing mature institutional support and professional service guarantees for the revitalization of existing assets and capital operations.
As a core national element trading platform, the Beijing Equity Exchange leverages its established "platform plus investment banking" model to accumulate a substantial repository of practical, implementable case studies. To precisely address the pain points in revitalizing existing assets, the Beijing Equity Exchange recently launched a dedicated service column for this purpose, covering 14 major categories of asset disposal. Through standardized, professional, and efficient services, it aims to drive the enhancement of quality and efficiency for low-performing and idle assets.
The collaboration between the two exchanges connects the entire process—from asset organization, restructuring and integration, to transaction circulation and capital conversion—providing a novel practical pathway for central enterprises to revitalize existing assets and conduct capital operations. The training faculty comprised seasoned industry experts, with the curriculum closely aligned with the latest state-owned enterprise reform policies and the actual development needs of central enterprises. This design aims to help participating trainees precisely grasp policy directions, adeptly utilize capital market tools, and improve the efficiency of state-owned capital allocation.
Looking ahead, the Beijing Equity Exchange will continue to deepen its normalized and multi-level cooperation with the Shanghai Stock Exchange, persistently improving its cross-market, full-cycle service system for state-owned enterprises. It will innovate service models and extend service chains, fully empowering the revitalization of central enterprise existing assets and the enhancement of listed company value, thereby contributing to the preservation and appreciation of state-owned assets and the deepened implementation of the new round of state-owned enterprise reforms.
