Parkson Retail Clarifies Typographical Error in Circular on Shanghai Tenancy Renewal Acquisition

Parkson Retail Group Limited released a clarification on 17 June 2026 regarding its circular dated 15 June 2026 for a very substantial acquisition involving the renewal of a tenancy in Shanghai, the PRC.

The company stated that the English-language cover page of the circular contained a typographical error in the standard notice to shareholders who have sold or transferred all their securities. The corrected sentence instructs such shareholders to forward the circular and proxy form to the purchaser, transferee, or relevant agent.

No other information in the circular has been revised. The clarification is supplemental and should be read in conjunction with the original document.

The announcement was signed by Executive Director and Chairman Tan Sri Cheng Heng Jem. As of the announcement date, the board comprises two Executive Directors (Tan Sri Cheng Heng Jem and Ms. Juliana Cheng San San), one Non-executive Director (Dato’ Sri Dr. Hou Kok Chung), and three Independent Non-executive Directors (Dato’ Fu Ah Kiow, Mr. Yau Ming Kim, Robert, and Datuk Koong Lin Loong).
