On May 26, the "Security and Reliability Assessment Results Announcement (No. 2, 2026)" was officially released, marking the first inclusion of AI training and inference chips in this assessment system. Biren Tech's BIREN™ 166 and eight other domestic chips were jointly rated as Security and Reliability Level I. On May 27, during the 2026 World Intelligent Industry Expo, Biren Tech formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone. According to the agreement, Biren Tech's Northern Headquarters was simultaneously registered and established in the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone.
It is noteworthy that recently, Hang Seng Indexes Company announced its quarterly review, with Biren Tech being included in the Hang Seng Composite Index. The changes will take effect after the market close on June 5 and be implemented starting June 8. The market anticipates that the company is likely to be simultaneously added to the Southbound Stock Connect eligible stock pool, potentially opening up incremental channels for southbound capital.
