On 31 March 2026, the company bought back 116,150 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 127.80 to HKD 131.40, spending HKD 14.99 million in aggregate. The repurchased stock—equivalent to 0.054% of the 214.47 million shares outstanding before the transaction—was retained as treasury shares, lifting the treasury balance to 3.56 million shares.
The same day, 2,000 new shares were issued at HKD 85.80 each following the exercise of options granted under the Pre-IPO Share Incentive Scheme. This represented a 0.00093% increase in the company’s issued share base (excluding treasury shares).
After reflecting both movements, issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury) declined to 214.36 million, while the total issued share count, including treasury shares, edged up to 217.92 million.
Under the repurchase mandate granted on 25 June 2025, NetEase Cloud Music is authorised to repurchase up to 21.74 million shares. Cumulative buybacks now stand at 3.22 million shares, equal to 1.48% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on further issues or disposals of treasury shares until 30 April 2026.
