Holly Futures (03678) issued a profit alert indicating that it expects to post a consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB19.00 million–28.50 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026. This marks a sharp turnaround from the RMB3.61 million loss reported in the same period of 2025.
Net profit after deducting non-recurring items is projected at RMB19.30 million–28.80 million, versus a RMB3.55 million loss a year earlier. Correspondingly, basic earnings per share are estimated at approximately RMB0.0189–0.0283, compared with a loss of RMB0.0036 per share in the first half of 2025.
Management attributes the expected profit recovery to: 1. Expansion of the client base and higher service standards, which boosted customer margin deposits. 2. Solid returns from financial asset investments, leading to notable growth in fee and commission income, net interest income and investment gains.
The interim results for the first half of 2026 are scheduled for release in August 2026. The figures disclosed in the profit alert are based on unaudited management accounts and remain subject to audit review and potential adjustment.
Investors are advised to interpret the profit alert in conjunction with the forthcoming interim report and exercise caution when dealing in Holly Futures’ securities.
