LYGEND RESOURCE (02245) surged more than 8% in early trading, and as of press time, it was up 5.58% to HK$14.76, with a turnover of HK$65.0501 million.

On the news front, on August 7, the China Securities Regulatory Commission issued the "Approval Regarding the Registration of the Initial Public Offering of Shares by Ningbo LYGEND RESOURCE Technology Co., Ltd." It is reported that LYGEND RESOURCE plans to list on the main board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, with China International Capital Corporation as its sponsor, and intends to raise approximately 4.047 billion yuan, primarily for the wet slag resource utilization demonstration project and the MHP refining production project.

Notably, LYGEND RESOURCE recently announced that Phase II of the RKEF project, the KPS project, achieved full production on August 1, 2026. With the successful ramp-up of the second phase, LYGEND RESOURCE now has the capability to stably produce an annual capacity of 400,000 metal tons of nickel. The company stated that the full production of the Obi project will further release overall scale benefits, laying a solid foundation for deepening cost reduction and efficiency improvements, optimizing resource allocation, and enhancing core competitiveness, thereby steadily boosting the company's profitability and industry influence.
