Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren publicly declared on Wednesday that Donald Trump stands as the most corrupt president in the nation's history. Her criticism zeroes in on his business ventures during his second term, particularly the disclosure of over $1.4 billion earned through cryptocurrency projects in 2025. This substantial income includes $520 million from token sales by World Liberty Financial and more than $635 million in royalties from Trump's official meme coin.
Warren also highlighted a "pay-to-access" service from Trump Media & Technology Group, priced between $60,000 and $100,000 monthly, which offers priority viewing of posts from ten high-profile Truth Social accounts, including Trump's own. Notably, two media outlets have already filed lawsuits against Trump over this service. The senator additionally voiced concerns about the plan to convert a Boeing 747 gifted by Qatar into the new Air Force One. Experts suggest this project could ultimately cost taxpayers over $1 billion and take years to finish.
"This is a very, very, very long list, and it grows longer every day," Warren stated. "Donald Trump is the most corrupt president in American history." Throughout Trump's second term, Warren has emerged as one of his most vocal critics regarding his business dealings. She has consistently opposed his cryptocurrency initiatives. The Democrat has repeatedly pointed out what she sees as major flaws in the so-called Clarity Act, arguing it fails to prevent Trump and his family from profiting off digital assets. Trump, meanwhile, maintains that his crypto earnings are neither "illegal" nor "wrong," emphasizing that America must take a leading role in the cryptocurrency sector.
