Kingsoft's stock surged 5.32% during intraday trading on Thursday, following the release of its subsidiary Kingsoft Office's robust financial results for the fiscal year 2025 and positive analysis of the company's overall performance.
The company's office software and services business, centered around WPS, reported revenue of RMB 5.9 billion, representing a significant 15.78% year-on-year increase. Net profit attributable to shareholders for this segment grew to RMB 1.8 billion, up 11.63%.
Analysis of the parent company's full-year results indicates a strategic shift, with the office business now constituting over 61% of total group revenue. Despite a slight decline in overall group revenue, net profit attributable to shareholders demonstrated a strong 29% increase, driven by the high-margin, growing office segment and successful monetization of WPS AI features.
