GXO Logistics Inc shares tumbled 6.43% in after-hours trading on Tuesday, following the release of the company's second-quarter 2026 financial results. The sharp decline came after the stock had closed the regular session at $50.62.

The sell-off was triggered by a top-line miss. GXO reported Q2 revenue of $3.40 billion, which fell short of the consensus estimate of $3.461 billion. While the company's adjusted earnings per share of $0.59 were in line with analysts' expectations, and adjusted EBITDA of $219 million exceeded the forecast of $213.4 million, the revenue shortfall appears to have overshadowed these positives. The company also narrowed its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $2.95 to $3.15, with the midpoint of $3.05 closely matching the consensus estimate of $3.04.

The after-hours move suggests investors were focused on the weaker-than-expected sales growth, despite GXO highlighting a 34% year-over-year increase in new business wins and strong commercial momentum in North America during the quarter.
