A fully automated, enclosed chicken house operates with orderly precision, featuring automatic feeding systems, constant temperature and humidity controls, and waste management. Chicken manure is processed into organic fertilizer through harmless treatment, while a steady supply of various green-certified fresh eggs is dispatched to major supermarkets. This scene unfolds at the breeding base of Harbin Yongtai Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Yongtai Animal Husbandry") in the Lequn Manchu Township of Shuangcheng District, Harbin, showcasing a complete intelligent green recycling breeding system.

As a leading private egg-laying chicken enterprise in the province, Yongtai Animal Husbandry leverages precise green credit support from the Agricultural Bank of China to continuously upgrade its smart ecological breeding system, ensuring stable supply in the regional egg market. The company has deep roots in the egg-laying chicken industry, currently housing 600,000 laying hens, with plans to expand capacity to 1 million by year-end. It also operates its own feed processing production line and a 3,000-ton raw material warehouse, making it one of the first large-scale breeding entities in the province to obtain green food certification. Currently, the company produces nearly 390,000 fresh eggs daily, holding over 30% market share in Harbin's local supermarket channels. Its self-developed high-end functional egg products, rich in selenium and folic acid, are highly sought after in the market.

However, the breeding industry commonly faces a development bottleneck: insufficient collateral. The live pledge of egg-laying chickens has no mature precedent, and the annual bulk procurement of raw materials like corn and soybean meal requires substantial upfront capital, creating a funding gap for the company's green expansion and environmental facility upgrades.

In response to the company's development challenges, the Agricultural Bank of China Harbin Xiangfang Branch (referred to as the "ABC Xiangfang Branch") quickly assembled a specialized service team. The team conducted on-site visits and research at the breeding base, verified the company's green food qualifications, and inspected the entire set of ecological breeding facilities, including smart environmental control systems and waste harmless treatment equipment. They assisted the company in completing a special green industry certification, tailoring a comprehensive one-stop financial service solution. The branch innovatively introduced a combined guarantee model of "livestock equipment mortgage + corporate guarantee," effectively resolving the shortage of collateral for agricultural breeding enterprises. This was combined with exclusive interest rate discounts for green credit, comprehensively reducing the company's overall financing costs.

Zhou Junzhi, Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Business Department at the ABC Xiangfang Branch, explained that in the second quarter of this year, the branch efficiently disbursed a 4 million yuan green working capital loan, directly channeling funds to the production front line to support the company's stable operations and quality development. "Thanks to the special support of ABC's green finance, this loan benefited from exclusive preferential interest rates for agriculture-related green industry projects. The current execution rate is better than ordinary commercial loans, which reduced our financial expenses and eased operational pressure," said Wang Jintao, head of Yongtai Animal Husbandry. He noted that the company also enjoys the bank's special rural revitalization fee reduction policy, which exempts multiple fees such as loan evaluation and mortgage registration. Additionally, projects like replacing old equipment and upgrading breeding technology can simultaneously apply for special subsidies from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs for equipment replacement and agricultural and animal husbandry technological transformation. These multiple policy benefits jointly provide a solid financial foundation for the company's green expansion, quality improvement, and upgrades.

Wang Jintao stated that with the support of the bank's special credit funds, the company can lock in feed raw material purchase prices in advance, effectively hedging against the risk of price fluctuations in the grain market. By relying on its own feed production line, the company achieves raw material self-sufficiency. At the same time, using technological transformation funds, the company has optimized its breeding model, shortened the chick-rearing period, and achieved seamless connections between flock elimination and replenishment. On this basis, the company continues to upgrade its environmental protection facilities, refining the entire process of chicken manure collection, fermentation, and processing, thereby building a green ecological recycling chain of "breeding—waste treatment—organic fertilizer return to farmland," effectively reducing breeding waste emissions from the source. The launch of high-end green functional egg products has further broadened the company's profit channels, significantly enhancing its overall ability to withstand industry cycle fluctuations.

In recent years, the ABC Xiangfang Branch has been rooted in the characteristics of the local livestock industry in the county. It has established a linkage service mechanism of "green certification + credit supply," providing priority credit and interest rate discounts to agriculture-related enterprises that have obtained green food certification or antibiotic-free breeding certification. This builds a positive matching system between green qualifications and financial resources, precisely guiding local agricultural and animal husbandry enterprises toward standardized, green, and intelligent transformation. Looking ahead, the branch will continue to increase credit supply to specialty industries like ecological breeding and green food. It will actively explore new financing products such as live chicken pledges and egg warehouse receipts, using low-cost, high-efficiency green finance "living water" to drive the green and high-quality development of Heilongjiang's agriculture and animal husbandry, injecting lasting financial momentum into the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.
