DexCom shares surged 8.18% in post-market trading after the company reported second-quarter results that handily topped analyst expectations and lifted its 2026 revenue outlook. The continuous glucose monitoring leader posted adjusted earnings of $0.70 per share, well above the $0.61 consensus estimate, while revenue climbed 13% year-over-year to $1.31 billion, exceeding the $1.29 billion forecast.

Management also raised its full-year revenue guidance to a range of $5.18 billion to $5.25 billion, up from the prior $5.16 billion to $5.25 billion, and lifted its margin forecasts, signaling confidence in sustained demand for its glucose monitors. The strong performance was fueled by a 19% jump in international revenue, positive clinical trial data for its CGM system in type 2 diabetes patients, and the launch of a new AI-powered Stelo app.

Several Wall Street analysts responded by raising their price targets on DexCom, with Piper Sandler, JP Morgan, and Jefferies all lifting their outlooks, further bolstering investor sentiment in the extended session.
