Operations at Shanghai's Pudong and Hongqiao airports will be significantly reduced on August 9 due to the impact of the 13th typhoon of the year, "White Dolphin." Nearly 60% of all scheduled departures and arrivals have been cancelled or adjusted.
A total of 1,384 flights have been cancelled for the day, with Shanghai Pudong International Airport accounting for 871 flights and Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport accounting for 513 flights.
