Tech Investors Reap Billions as Robot Maker Debuts on STAR Market

The "humanoid robot" pioneer Yushu Technology Co.,Ltd. (SH: 688836) made its highly anticipated debut on the STAR Market on the 19th, with shares surging 629.44% at the open to 1,100.00 yuan per share. At current trading levels, a single allotment of 500 shares yields a paper profit of 474,600 yuan.

Liang Wenfeng's investment vehicles — including DeepSeek, High-Flyer Quant, and Nine Chapter Asset Management — collectively secured approximately 1.1916 million shares through strategic placement and offline IPO subscriptions. This stake has generated paper gains exceeding 1.1 billion yuan.

Lei Jun's Shunwei Capital affiliate Astrend IV holds 16.106 million shares in the company, translating to a paper profit of over 15.2 billion yuan. Meanwhile, the MEITUAN ecosystem has emerged as the largest external shareholder, with entities including Hanhai Information, Chengdu Longzhu, and Galaxy Z combining for roughly 35.1236 million shares — representing a paper gain of more than 33.3 billion yuan.

Notably, a fund under DJI's umbrella once had the opportunity to participate in Yushu Technology's capital increase back in 2018, but the investment never materialized. Had the projected investment of 10.12 million yuan been preserved in full through to the company's listing, the stake would have been valued at over 3.5 billion yuan based on the issue price. At the opening price, that missed opportunity represents a staggering loss of more than 25 billion yuan.
