Significant Share Transfer of NEXCHIP Involves HK$479 Million, 7.39% of Issued Shares

Information from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange reveals a notable change in share positions for NEXCHIP (02249) on July 14th. The total value of shares transferred amounted to HK$479 million, representing 7.39% of the company's issued share capital. The transaction involved a transfer of 3.6451 million shares to Morgan Stanley Hong Kong Securities, while 2.5639 million shares were transferred out of Cinda International Securities.

NEXCHIP made its debut on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on July 10th. According to the listing announcement, the shares were priced at HK$32.3 each. The company issued a total of 216 million shares, with a board lot size of 100 shares. The net proceeds raised from the offering were approximately HK$6.779 billion.

As outlined in its prospectus, NEXCHIP is a leading 12-inch pure-play semiconductor wafer foundry, occupying a critical position in the global semiconductor value chain. As a professional foundry service provider, the company mass-produces high-quality processed wafers based on the integrated circuit design blueprints from fabless, fab-lite, and vertically integrated manufacturing (IDM) companies.
