Closing Bell: Mixed Performance in China's Futures Market as Low-Sulfur Fuel Oil and Fuel Oil Surge Over 6%

On August 11, 2026, domestic futures contracts exhibited mixed trends, with gains and losses across various sectors.

Low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and fuel oil both surged over 6%, while SC crude oil climbed nearly 6%. Coking coal advanced more than 5%, and methanol and propylene each rose over 4%. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and soda ash both gained nearly 4%.

On the downside, the European container shipping index (欧线) fell over 4%. Eggs and wood pulp each dropped more than 2%, while urea, tin ingot, and coated paper slipped over 1%. Platinum decreased by nearly 1%.
