Parkson Retail Announces Director Update After Dissolution of Shaoxing Subsidiary

Parkson Retail Group Limited issued an update on 19 August 2026 under Hong Kong Listing Rules 13.51B(2) and 13.51(2)(l), disclosing new information related to Executive Director Ms. Juliana Cheng San San. Ms. Cheng previously served as a director of Shaoxing Shishang Parkson Retail Development Co., Ltd., an indirect wholly owned subsidiary incorporated in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, China.

The subsidiary, which had operated a department store business, was voluntarily dissolved on 19 August 2026 in accordance with PRC law after ceasing operations in recent years. Management stated that the move forms part of Parkson Retail’s broader strategy to redeploy and optimise resources. According to the company’s internal assessment, the dissolution does not have a significant impact on Parkson Retail’s overall operations or financial position.

Parkson Retail’s board currently comprises two Executive Directors (Tan Sri Cheng Heng Jem and Ms. Juliana Cheng San San), one Non-executive Director (Dato’ Sri Dr. Hou Kok Chung) and three Independent Non-executive Directors (Dato’ Fu Ah Kiow, Mr. Yau Ming Kim, Robert, and Datuk Koong Lin Loong).

No further matters related to the dissolution were noted for shareholder attention.
