At the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show held this afternoon, BYD showcased a comprehensive lineup of new models, with the Denza Z Coupe (hardtop version) making its domestic debut alongside the Spider (convertible version) featuring a brand-new exterior color.

As the world's first electric supercar equipped with the e³-pro tri-motor system, the Denza Z delivers a maximum output exceeding 1,600 horsepower with a peak torque of 1,260 N·m. It achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration time as fast as the sub-one-second range and a top speed surpassing 350 km/h.

The Denza Z is also the first globally to feature the YunNian-M intelligent magnetorheological body control system, which supports millisecond-level damping adjustments, paired with a DCCB high-performance ceramic carbon-fiber braking system. Powered by second-generation blade batteries and flash-charging technology, it can recharge from 10% to 97% in just 9 minutes.

Designed under the "Pure Emotion" philosophy, the hardtop version showcases an exclusive Mirror Lake Silver exterior with Streaming Yellow interior accents, while the convertible version introduces a new Erhai Blue color combined with a Bihu Green interior and a soft-top roof structure. The vehicle also includes native airflow guide ducts and a carbon-fiber aerodynamic kit.

To let users deeply experience the supercar's appeal, Denza has created an immersive AR experience zone, offering a "zero-distance" feel of the driving thrill of a thousand-horsepower supercar. Currently, the Denza Z is open for nationwide pre-sales, with the official market launch expected in the fourth quarter of this year.
