The flooring manufacturer reported adjusted earnings of $3.67 per share, surpassing the consensus estimate of $2.58 by 42.25%. Revenue came in at $2.991 billion, exceeding the $2.787 billion forecast. Both figures also showed solid growth compared to the same period last year.
Additionally, the company provided an upbeat outlook for the third quarter, guiding for adjusted earnings between $2.50 and $2.60 per share, well above the $2.37 analyst estimate. The strong quarterly performance and optimistic guidance fueled a sharp rally in the stock during the after-hours session.
