Cafe de Coral Shares Surge Nearly 7% on High Dividend Payout and Share Buyback Plan

The stock of CAFE DE CORAL H (00341) has climbed nearly 7%, following a significant jump of almost 16% in the previous trading session.

As of the latest update, the share price has increased by 6.75% to HK$4.9, with a trading turnover of HK$21.77 million.

The company recently released its annual results for the period ending March 31, 2026.

Revenue for the year was approximately HK$8.183 billion, marking a decrease of 4.5% compared to the previous year.

Profit attributable to shareholders was HK$164 million, representing a year-on-year decline of 29.5%.

The board has recommended a final dividend of 30 HK cents per share, which is a 20% increase from the prior year.

Including the interim dividend of 10 HK cents, the total annual dividend amounts to 40 HK cents, unchanged from the last fiscal year, resulting in a full-year dividend payout ratio of 141.4%.

Additionally, the company announced a share repurchase plan, authorizing the buyback of its own shares on the open market for up to a total consideration of HK$50 million, subject to market conditions.
