Global Markets: Global Oil Prices Fall on October 7

International crude oil prices declined on October 7.

At the close of trading, the price of November-delivery light crude futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange dropped by $1.16 to settle at $88.28 per barrel, a decline of 1.3 percent. The December-delivery Brent crude futures contract on the London market fell by 38 cents to close at $100.20 per barrel, a decrease of 0.38 percent.
