The State Council has recently issued the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan for Intellectual Property Protection and Utilization," which outlines the goals, key tasks, and special projects for intellectual property work during the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" period.
The plan sets a target that by 2030, China's comprehensive intellectual property strength and international competitiveness will be further enhanced. Intellectual property protection will be more robust, the market value of intellectual property will be more prominent, public services for intellectual property will be of higher quality, the comprehensive management system for intellectual property will be more efficient, and international cooperation in intellectual property will be deepened. Decisive progress will be made in building China into an intellectual property powerhouse.
The plan outlines four key areas of focus:
Sustained optimization of the intellectual property protection environment to support comprehensive innovation
Vigorous enhancement of the effectiveness of intellectual property utilization to promote high-quality economic development
Continuous improvement of the comprehensive intellectual property management system to advance efficient governance
Active construction of a new pattern for international intellectual property cooperation to serve high-level opening-up
