On July 25th, the "Ecological Hezhou, Premium Guangdong" 2026 Guangdong-Guangxi Collaborative Consumption Support Hezhou Agricultural Product Sales Matching Event launched on Beijing Road Pedestrian Street in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou.
Multiple cooperation intentions were reached on-site, continuously expanding sales channels for Hezhou's agricultural products within the Bay Area, and solidifying the foundation for long-term, stable circulation of agricultural products between the two regions. A hundred varieties of ecological agricultural products from Hezhou, Guangxi, and Zhaoqing, Guangdong, alongside intangible cultural heritage treasures from the Yao ethnic group, collectively attended the event. Procurement representatives from over a hundred supermarkets, e-commerce platforms, catering companies, and cultural tourism institutions in the Greater Bay Area jointly established a platform to bring premium goods directly to Bay Area dining tables.
"Hezhou is the 'vegetable basket' and 'rice bag' for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area," said Li Li, member of the Standing Committee of the Hezhou Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor. She stated that this sales event, held in the core commercial area of Guangzhou, is a key initiative to deepen Guangdong-Guangxi collaborative consumption support. The hope is to leverage the vast market of the Greater Bay Area to transform Hezhou's ecological, longevity, and ethnic characteristics into industrial income-generating advantages. By relying on regular production-sales matching, the aim is to continuously drive stable income growth for farmers.
Moving forward, the agricultural departments of Hezhou and Zhaoqing will continue to improve the regular production-sales matching mechanism. By utilizing the mature distribution network of the Greater Bay Area, which enables "Guangdong goods to reach the world," they will ensure the stable export of Hezhou's specialty agricultural products. This will involve regularly conducting online promotional events and quarterly supply-demand matching to promote the coordinated development of the planting, breeding, processing, and cultural tourism industries.
