Ryanair Holdings PLC (RYAAY) shares surged 5.75% during Monday's pre-market trading session. The significant upward move follows the release of the company's latest financial results and reassuring commentary on its operational outlook.

The budget airline reported quarterly results that exceeded analyst expectations. For the quarter ended March 31, Ryanair posted a loss of $0.86 per share, beating the consensus estimate of a $0.95 loss. Revenue also came in above forecasts at $2.94 billion, representing a 21.6% increase from the same period last year.

Additionally, the company provided reassuring guidance regarding jet fuel supply, stating it anticipates no shortages despite ongoing geopolitical tensions. Ryanair indicated that supply chain uncertainty is receding as alternative sources become available, alleviating a major concern for investors in the airline sector.
