On the news front, Sa Sa International announced that its overall turnover for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027 (the quarter ended September) reached HK$1.4138 billion, up 37.2% year-on-year. The group's total offline sales reached HK$1.2196 billion, up 47.6% year-on-year. During the National Day Golden Week from October 1 to 7, offline sales in Hong Kong and Macau grew more than 60% year-on-year, while same-store sales grew more than 50%.
Jefferies stated that the company's second-quarter sales performance was better than expected, with Hong Kong and Macau offline sales coming in 17% above the bank's forecast; first-half sales for fiscal year 2027 have already accounted for 51% of the bank's full-year sales forecast. The company previously announced that it expects net profit for the first half to exceed HK$150 million, and sales momentum has not slowed so far in October, with current trading performance still supporting the bank's sales and net profit forecasts for fiscal year 2027.
