IREN Ltd's stock surged 5.23% in pre-market trading on Monday, as investors continued to react positively to the company's recent announcement of multi-year cloud services contracts with leading AI developers.
The $2.8 billion in contracts prompted IREN to raise its year-end AI cloud annualized recurring revenue target from $3.7 billion to over $4 billion. Approximately 85% of the updated target is now locked under long-term contracts with a weighted average term of about four years, while customer prepayments are expected to cover roughly 45% of associated GPU capital expenditure, providing strong cash flow visibility. The company also held approximately $7.6 billion in cash and equivalents as of June 30, and its recent addition to the Russell 1000 Index has further boosted institutional visibility and potential passive fund inflows.
The pre-market rally reflects growing confidence in IREN's ability to capitalize on the expanding AI infrastructure market, with a significantly increased and contractually secured revenue base.
