Prudential plc buys back 381,182 shares on Jul, 07 2026

Prudential plc announced that on Jul, 07 2026 it repurchased 381,182 ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange for an aggregate consideration of about 6.7 million Singapore dollars, paying between roughly 17.5 and 17.8 million Singapore dollars per share.

The repurchased shares will be cancelled, leaving the company’s issued share capital at 2,510,209,955 shares before cancellation takes effect. The company also disclosed that it had bought back 381,154 shares on Jul, 06 2026, which likewise await cancellation.

Since shareholders approved the buy-back mandate on May, 14 2025, Prudential plc has repurchased approximately 102.7 million shares, equivalent to about 3.94 % of the issued shares at the time of the mandate, out of the 262.7 million shares authorised for repurchase. The latest transaction imposes a moratorium on new share issues until Aug, 06 2026.
