Stock Track | Dongyue Group Soars 5.94% Intraday on US/UK Regulatory Easing and AI-Driven PTFE Demand

Dongyue Group's stock soared 5.94% during intraday trading on Thursday, extending a multi-session rally that has seen the stock surge significantly in recent sessions.

The sharp rise follows regulatory developments in key Western markets. The US Environmental Protection Agency formally issued a final rule significantly relaxing GWP limits for multiple core sub-industries, effectively extending the legal usage lifespan of third-generation refrigerants (HFCs) in the United States. Concurrently, the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs announced a postponement of its proposed fluorinated gas phase-down steps. Analysts note that with global HFC production capacity predominantly concentrated in China, domestic producers like Dongyue stand to benefit substantially from extended overseas demand.

Further supporting the bullish sentiment are price increases for PTFE materials, a key product segment for Dongyue. High-end PTFE applications in PCB substrates are gaining momentum from the ongoing AI infrastructure buildout. Additionally, the company's in-construction R32 project is expected to bring its total capacity to 120,000 tonnes upon completion, reinforcing its quota advantage in the refrigerant segment.
