China's Yuan Reference Rate Against USD Set at 6.7873, Up 5 Pips

On August 17, the People's Bank of China set the central parity rate of the yuan against the US dollar at 6.7873, marking an increase of 5 pips.

According to the CME Group's "FedWatch" tool, the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged at its September meeting stands at 66.9%, while the probability of a 25-basis-point rate hike is 33.1%.

Looking ahead to the October meeting, the probability of the Fed maintaining the current rate is 53.6%, with a 39.8% chance of a 25-basis-point increase and a 6.6% probability of a 50-basis-point hike.
