Prudential plc announced that on Aug, 11 2026 it cancelled 269,314 ordinary shares that had been repurchased on Aug, 07 2026.
Following the cancellation, the company’s issued share capital fell to 2,500,847,618 ordinary shares.
In addition, the insurer disclosed that it bought back a further 380,558 shares on the London Stock Exchange on Aug, 11 2026 for cancellation.
Including 339,154 shares repurchased on Aug, 10 2026, a total of 719,712 shares are awaiting cancellation under the current mandate approved by shareholders on May, 14 2025.
