ORBUSNEICH reports 9.0% increase in net profit to $21.569 million for first half, with interim dividend of 8 HK cents

ORBUSNEICH (06929) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, showing group revenue of $98.707 million, an 18.1% increase year-on-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders reached $21.569 million, up 9.0% from the same period last year, with basic earnings per share of 2.62 US cents and an interim dividend of 8 HK cents.

Through its direct sales teams and distributors, ORBUSNEICH has established a broad sales network covering over 70 countries and regions worldwide. In the first half of 2026, the group continued to actively expand its business footprint. Notably, the group set up its own sales teams in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, successfully transitioning these markets to direct sales. This expansion increased the total number of direct sales teams to 15. Other direct sales markets include Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain, and Monaco. As of June 30, 2026, the group had 319 sales and marketing personnel (compared to 296 as of December 31, 2025) and 335 distributors (down from 411 as of December 31, 2025).

During the six months ended June 30, 2026, direct sales and distributor sales were approximately $59.5 million and $39.2 million, respectively, accounting for 60.3% and 39.7% of total group revenue. To deepen engagement with healthcare professionals and strengthen the ORBUSNEICH brand, the group participated in 72 seminars, workshops, and industry conferences globally, including TCTAP, EuroPCR, and MLCTO. For example, a clinical report on eucaLimus was presented at EuroPCR in May 2026, evaluating the three-year clinical outcomes of ultra-thin drug-eluting stents in complex coronary lesions and demonstrating the stent's durable long-term safety and efficacy as a reliable treatment option for complex PCI. Additionally, the group held three doctor exchange events in Hong Kong and Malaysia to facilitate knowledge sharing and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals.
