Willis Lease Finance Corporation's stock surged 6.22% intraday on Tuesday, driven by the release of its impressive first-quarter 2026 financial results that significantly exceeded market expectations.

The aircraft engine lessor reported quarterly revenue of $194.3 million, a 23.2% increase year-over-year and well above the consensus estimate of $175 million. Earnings per share came in at $3.26, beating the FactSet estimate of $2.45 by a substantial margin and representing a 47.5% increase from the same period last year.

The strong performance was fueled by record quarterly lease rent revenue of $77.4 million, a 14.2% increase, and maintenance services revenue that jumped 74.9% to $9.8 million. CEO Austin Willis stated that the company "outperformed nearly every revenue and earnings metric compared to Q1 2025" and is "poised for significant growth" following the execution of its capital strategy. The company also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.40 per share.
