Just one month after withdrawing its previous IPO application on the STAR Market, Future Materials (officially Shandong Dongyue Future Hydrogen Energy Materials Co., Ltd.) has initiated a new listing process. The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) website shows that the company has recently filed for listing guidance, with CITIC Securities serving as the sponsor.

The listing guidance filing report reveals that Future Materials was established on December 19, 2017, with legal representative Zhang Heng. The company's largest shareholder is Beijing Xuri Xinglong Technology Development Center (Limited Partnership), which directly holds 22.02% of the company's shares. Zhang Jianhong controls 35.5% of the voting rights through his control over Beijing Xuri Xinglong Technology Development Center (Limited Partnership), Zibo Qilu Jishi Venture Capital Partnership (Limited Partnership), and Zibo Xiaowang Enterprise Management Partnership (Limited Partnership), which hold 22.02%, 9.81%, and 3.67% of the shares respectively, making him the actual controller of the company.

This is not the first time Future Materials has attempted to enter the capital market. The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) accepted the company's initial public offering application for the STAR Market, sponsored by CITIC Securities, on June 27, 2025. However, due to the withdrawal of the application by both Future Materials and CITIC Securities, the SSE decided to terminate the review of the company's IPO application on June 30, 2026.

According to the previous STAR Market IPO prospectus, Future Materials is primarily engaged in the research, development, production, and sale of high-performance fluorine-containing functional membranes and their key materials, as well as derivative materials.
